VENUS Williams has been dubbed the Lady GaGa of tennis by the British press!

The sexy star and American No4 has been criticized for wearing “one of the worst dresses ever” at a Grand Slam.

Williams seed designs her own frocks and owns her own fashion company, EleVen.

But the outfit she rocked in her three set win over Czech Sandra Zahlavova on the Rod Laver Court has been roundly mocked by British newspaper The Sun.

“It looks like a cheese and onion pasty,” said one pundit. “From a distance it even resembled the shocking yellow Arsenal away kit of the 90’s.”

Venus recently said that fashion choices in tennis are “conservative or conservative.”

“There’s times where I’ve designed things and the back is just too low or the fabric was too hot or I’ve altered [a piece] to give it more support,” she said.

“I don’t think I’ve worn anything that was so bad, it’s been like ‘ugh.’ “

Since I am a huge Scott Pilgrim fan, I will be reporting every bit of casting news that comes along and a bit of it slipped by me last night when I reported that Kieran Culkin would play Wallace Wells.  the Hollywood Reporter delivered the news that Aubrey Plaza would be playing Julie Powers the off-again/on-again spiteful girlfriend of Scott’s bandmate Stephen Stills. 

For those unfamiliar with Plaza’s previous work, she’s a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade and she will be seen in the upcoming Derrick Comedy flick, “Mystery Team”.  For those that are going to catch “Mystery Team”, drop us a line to let us know how she is in it (also, you can tell us what you thought of the movie in general

Kat Steward, Kat Stewart is. She is featured in the latest patent Forde “Forde Minutes” column on ESPN. Yes, it is because of this tattoo, which includes rallying cry Athletics Kansas (Rock Chalk, Jayhawk “) in front of a flowery, KU-colored prairie in which both a basketball and KU mascot Jayhawk to be found, then in the back of everything that the similarity of characteristics of the arena KU basketball iconic, Allen Fieldhouse, and a ribbon encircling Allen Fieldhouse as a halo (later), commemorating KU’s 2008 national championship.

Kansas basketball program is a story with a large legion of die-hard fans (and I do not just say that because SportsGrid / Mediaite editor Colby Hall is one of them). But even among those devoted fans, I must say Stewart has a leg (or at least, surprisingly complex back tattoo) on most of them.

Barrett-Jackson Celebrates Four Decades of Charitable Work at 40th Annual Scottsdale Auction

Maria Shriver’s father, Sargent Shriver, has died at the age of 95. According to CNN, a family source confirmed Sgt. Shriver died after a several year battle with Alzheimer’s.

The brother-in-law to President John F. Kennedy, Shriver was the first director of the Peace Corps and at one point the head of the Special Olympics (founded by his wife, Eunice Kennedy, who died in 2009).

Shriver was a Maryland native, Yale Law graduate and submarine office in World War II, he married Eunice in 1953. The Shriver had 5 children, Robert Sargent Shriver III, Maria Shriver, Timothy Shriver, Mark Shriver and Anthony Shriver and 19 grandchildren.
