In what looks to be turning into a “where there’s smoke there’s a fire” situation, a second woman has filed a sexual harassment lawsuit against Casey Affleck. Magdalena Gorka, the Director of Photography on the mockumentary I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix, is suing Affleck for $2.25 million, alleging he climbed into her bed while she was asleep and that she was later “berated and verbally attacked by Affleck after she refused his sexual advances in New York, and was criticized constantly for refusing to be submissive in response to his rants and derisive comments,” according to the complaint.
The Joaquin Phoenix rapper project has taken an entirely new and perhaps even stranger twist as E Online is reporting that I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix director Casey Affleck is being sued by producer Amanda White for sexual harassment that occurred during the two-year-long filming of the mockumentary. Adding insult to litigation injury is the fact that Affleck is married to and has two children with Phoenix’s sister Summer.
Actor Casey Affleck, the younger brother of actor Ben Affleck, was sued for sexual harassment by a female producer, Amanda White, of his brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix’s rap star documentary titled, “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix.”
Joaquin Phoenix Retires from Acting for Music Career
Amanda claims Casey, who is married to Summer Phoenix for four years, made several “uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances in the workplace” during production. Casey reportedly also referred to women as “cows” and discussed his sick sexual exploits in front of her.

Casey allegedly entertained two women in her hotel room in Costa Rica and tried to convince Amanda to sleep with him in a hotel room in San Francisco. Amanda claims Casey became “hostile and aggressive” when she refused and “violently grabbed her arm in an effort to intimidate her into staying.”
The 34 year-old actor also allegedly refused to pay for her producer services when she refused to sleep with him. Casey denies the woman’s claims and is currently planning to counter-attack with a lawsuit against Amanda.
The Truth About Joaquin Phoenix’s Master Plan To Fool Us All
In response, Michael Plonsker, a litigator for Affleck and his production company Flemmy Prods., said, “The allegations brought upon our clients are preposterous and without merit. Ms. White was terminated from the production over a year ago. She and her lawyers believe that this maliciously and erroneously filed complaint will cause the producers to succumb to her outrageous and baseless demands. She is mistaken. The complaint will be vigorously defended and cross-claims will be filed against her.”
Amanda’s $2 million lawsuit includes sexual harassment, breach of oral contract and intentional infliction of emotional distress. Joaquin Phoenix and the distributer of the movie, Magnolia Films, have not been mentioned in the lawsuit.
